Asvotec delivered four sets of static cyclones

Asvotec delivered four sets of static cyclones capable of separating products of different specific masses, within the FCC Regenerator (Fluid Catalytic Cracking), responsible for the chemical transformation  process from heavier fractions to lighter ones, by breaking molecules of the reagent compounds.

Equipment manufactured with ASTM A-240 GR. 304H Steel, resistant to high operating temperatures (up to 760 ° C), with a internal coating "A" Class Refractory Concrete, anchored through Hexagonal Mesh in SA-240 / TP 304 material.

Internal refractory is essential because of the erosion caused by the contact of the gas-catalyst abrasive mixture at high tangential and helical velocity with the inner wall of the cyclones during separation of the catalyst of the cracking products.
