Asvotec continues supply to Mosaic, which recently bought assets from Vale Fertilizantes

In December, Asvotec sold a new package for the adaptation of the hot gas generator from the furnace that feeds the fertilizer drying of Fospar, in Paraná, a company of Mosaic's group. The package consists of a dilution chamber, with refractory bricks of alumina, suitable for high temperature, two oil lances with assistance for compressed air, for burning heavy oil with the aid of air, in addition to pumping and heating system oil, which will feed the burner.

In 2016, Asvotec supplied for the hot gas generator an RS-650 burner, power and control rack and two large valves. The new 2017 supply, which will be delivered now in March, will be to change the oil-burning technology from mechanical atomization for atomization with compressed air assistance. The amendment aims at greater efficiency of the system, with greater durability and less maintenance.

Mosaic, the parent company of Fospar, at the end of 2016, confirmed the purchase of Vale Fertilizantes assets, an operation still subject to regulatory approval, including, among others, the Uberaba and Catalão fertilizer plants, in which Asvotec also owns Equipment installed.

Specially, for the fertilizer industry, Asvotec supplies hot gas generators, industrial burners, skids and automation panels, large goggle valves, large butterfly valves, large ocular valvescouplings for pipe joints, pipes repair clamps, heat exchangers, among others.
