• Asvotec receives the Supplier of the Year Award from GE Oil & Gas due to the WHRU manufacturing.

The pioneering to become the first Brazilian company to design and to manufacture totally the equipment called WHRU (Waste Heat Recovery Unit) led Asvotec to be recognized internationally by winning the Supplier of the Year Award - Onerous Assignment Project, awarded by GE Oil & Gas.

The award was received by the General Director, Mr. Christian Mader, and the collaborator Mr. Eder Santos de Araújo (Sales - Combustion) in October, during a GE Group's Supplier Conference at the AMCHAM (American Chamber of Commerce), in São Paulo.

"This award is the result of a strong team work, involving Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Quality and Contracts", said the CEO who wished to share this achievement with all employees and he also congratulates all of them for the excellent performance before the customer.

The award enhances even more the company's responsibility in relation to the customer and the market itself. "We have to earn it, keep and preserve the image of Asvotec, in a continuous improvement process", concluded Christian.

In fact, the team has to be proud because only two companies have been awarded by the Oil & Gas Division. The assessed requirements were: supplier's partnership during the year 2014, high quality of provided service, integrity and delivery on time. The choice is based on an assessment by the Sourcing team (Purchasing) of the business division. The information is from GE itself, through its press office (agency Ideal).

GE Group has several business units in Brazil and each of them awarded a supplier. Asvotec was awarded in the Oil & Gas Turbo Machinery category.
